Our Sensory Friendly classes are designed for children with additional needs, emotional needs or physical needs, such as autism or sensory processing differences, who enjoy moving but find a busy, noisy class hard. The groups are small (no more than 6 children) with one coach for every 3, the room is calmer and quieter, and the pace is gentler, so every child has the space and support to have a go.
There’s no pressure to join in with everything. The classes are low demand: we guide each child towards something they might want to do and give them space, and if they end up doing something partly related, that’s a win for us. Parents and carers are welcome to stay in the room and watch, and if your child needs a break, the viewing room at our Peterborough gym doubles as a quiet chill-out space.
It’s the same parkour as our other classes (balancing, jumping, climbing and landing safely), taught step by step. Sensory Friendly classes have their own membership, so the groups stay small. If you’d like to talk about your child before you book, send us a message: we’re happy to help you decide if it’s the right class.

At our Peterborough gym there’s a viewing room for parents and carers, with TVs to watch the action. In Sensory Friendly classes you’re welcome to stay in the room. At the other venues, ask the coach on the day. Coaches take a register at the start and mark attendance in the app.
