Parkour has risks. You’ve told us anything we need to know about their health, and they’ll follow the coaches’ safety rules. You accept it once for each person taking part.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This agreement is between you and Aspire Parkour Academy Ltd (“Aspire Parkour Academy”, “we”). You accept it separately for each participant — for each of your children, or for yourself if you take part. By accepting it you (the parent, carer or adult participant) confirm the following.
Understanding the activity
1.You understand that parkour involves running, jumping, climbing, vaulting, balancing and landing, sometimes at height, and carries a risk of injury such as sprains, bruises, cuts, fractures and, rarely, more serious injury.
2.Coaches teach progressions suited to each participant’s level. The participant will follow the instructions of our coaches and volunteers at all times, warm up, use equipment only as shown, and only attempt what they’ve been shown.
Health
3.You’ve told us, in the app’s health form, about any medical conditions, allergies, medication, and additional or sensory needs that coaches should know about, and you’ll keep it up to date.
4.To the best of your knowledge no medical professional has advised against the participant taking part in physical activity — or, if they have, you’ve told us and we’ve agreed how they can take part safely. You’ll make sure they’re fit to take part, especially after an illness or injury, and tell us about it.
5.The participant will bring any medication they may need (for example an inhaler, adrenaline auto-injector or epilepsy medication) to every session, clearly labelled and in date, and it will be kept where they can get to it.
6.If the participant has a severe allergy, severe or unstable asthma, or a risk of a seizure during a class, a parent or carer will stay on site (in the viewing area at our Peterborough gym) for the whole class.
Emergencies
7.In an emergency, our staff may give first aid and call an ambulance. If we can’t reach you or an emergency contact, you consent to our staff arranging medical treatment and sharing the participant’s health information with the emergency services.
Safety and behaviour
8.The participant will wear suitable clothing and trainers, remove jewellery, and behave safely and respectfully towards others, following our behaviour rules (see our terms).
9.For under-16s: you’ll drop off and collect on time, and tell the coaches if someone else is collecting.
Nerf sessions
10.Some sessions (for example at camps and parties) include Nerf games: running, dodging and taking cover with foam blasters. There’s a risk of slips, trips, collisions and being hit by darts, including near the eyes. The participant will wear the eye protection we provide at all times, use the equipment responsibly, follow the staff’s safety rules, and only use the blasters and darts we provide — nothing brought from home.
Records and photos
11.We record attendance, progress and any incident or injury, and share incident reports with you in the app.
12.Photos and videos are only used as set in the participant’s photo setting, which you can change at any time.
Our responsibility
13.The information you give us is true and complete to the best of your knowledge, and you’ll update it in the app if anything changes.
14.We run sessions with qualified, DBS-checked coaches, suitable equipment and public liability insurance, and take reasonable care to keep participants safe.
15.Nothing in this agreement limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any of your other legal rights.
The app records who accepted this agreement, for which participant, and when.
